am hearing alot of when you die you go right to heaven or hell. some preacher was saying it's in the bible that you find out within 5 minutes after death.
what i have read is, we will not be raised until jesus returns. you thoughts on this matter please. thanks dave |

There are passages that look both ways; one says to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord, also Jesus said to the theif on the cross next to him that "Today you will be with me in paradise". However There are other scriptures that say that the dead praise not the Lord & also that when Jesus returns is when the dead will be raised. I am not sure exactly how it works.
