Well you said she is "finding it difficult to forgive" so I would get on my knees & ask our father to guide you back into her arms if He indeed wants you to fulfill that vow. Any vow or covanant you make is very important to God that you fulfill your contract because God wants us to be people of our word; we are after all made in His image & His word is so powerful it makes the crooked things straight.
Now there is a passage in 1 Cor 7 or so that mentions that if the unbeliever departs you are not bound in these circumstances; but I doubt that would apply to you because you are the one to have backslided & repented over the matter (whatever it was) & so the issue isn't so much an unbeliever departing but rather someone running from possible future pain or jus the inability to forgive or forget or watever it takes it make the relationship work. Just do your best to fulfill your word & God will see the effort you make & He will make a note of it. "The more you know, the more you should realize how much you have to learn" Slade "God forbid that I should sin against the LORD in ceasing to pray for you" (1 Sam 12:23) "let such as love thy salvation say continually, Let God be magnified" (70 Ps 4) All scriptures are King James (Authorized) Version unless otherwise noted http://willbf.yolasite.com/ |
