The Coming Jubilee Celebration Will Jesus, the Messiah, return on a "Jubilee year"? Is there other evidence in the Scriptures that this is so? The apostle Peter declared, to the assembled Jews of his day, "Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord, and that he may send the Christ, who has been appointed for you -- even Jesus. He must remain in heaven until the time comes for God to RESTORE EVERYTHING, as he promised long ago through his holy prophets" (Acts 3:19-21). The "times of refreshing," and time of "restoring everything," would naturally occur on a Jubilee year -- the designated year of liberty, freedom, forgiveness of all debts, and restitution of all lands and properties and inheritances (Lev.25). Jesus Himself, when He began His ministry, said, "The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim FREEDOM for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to RELEASE the oppressed, to proclaim the YEAR OF THE LORD'S FAVOR" (Luke 4:18-19, NIV). Although this Scripture was fulfilled in type at Jesus' first coming, it will be fully fulfilled in its TOTALITY at His Second Coming! This Scripture also describes the "Jubilee year" -- the "year of the Lord's favor," the year of "freedom" and "release." At the Second Coming of Christ, the Israelite prisoners in foreign lands around the world will be given their FREEDOM, and the oppressed everywhere will be RELEASED! Judging by these verses, Jesus Christ, Yeshua the Messiah, could very probably return to this earth at the sounding of the great silver trumpet which is to be blown on the day of Yom Kippur, the "Day of Judgment" and "Atonement." God commanded Israel, "Then shalt thou cause the TRUMPET OF THE JUBILEE TO SOUND on the tenth day of the seventh month, in the day of ATONEMENT shall ye make the TRUMPET TO SOUND throughout all your land. And ye shall HALLOW the fiftieth year, and PROCLAIM LIBERTY throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof: it shall be a Jubilee unto you; and ye shall RETURN EVERY MAN UNTO HIS POSSESSION, and ye shall return every man unto his family" (Lev.25:9-10). The second coming of Jesus Christ, the Messiah, will very likely occur on the literal day which pictures God's Judgment -- the day of Yom Kippur, or Day of Atonement! On that day He will gather together His elect, from the four winds. As we read in Matthew: "And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man COMING IN THE CLOUDS OF HEAVEN with power and great glory. And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other" (Matt.24:30-31). The apostle Paul also speaks of this tremendous event: "In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, AT THE LAST TRUMP, FOR THE TRUMPET [the great trumpet of Jubilee, sounded on the day of Atonement!] shall SOUND, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed" (I Cor.15:52). When Christ returns, He immediately begins to execute JUDGMENT -- symbolized by the very meaning of "Yom Kippur," the Day of Atonement! This is the same as the SEVENTH and FINAL trumpet blown in the book of Revelation! Notice! "And the seventh angel sounded [his trumpet]; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever. . . . And the nations were angry, and thy WRATH is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be JUDGED, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth" (Rev.11:15-18). It is time we WAKE UP! Rub the sleep from our eyes; watch world events as never before! The COMING OF THE MESSIAH IS RIGHT AROUND THE CORNER! It is very near -- even at the doors! It is time we take seriously Jesus' own admonition and warning: "And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares. For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth. Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man" (Luke 21:34-36). Are you watching? Are you vigilant, alert, taking heed to yourself? It is truly time for all God's people everywhere on the surface of this earth to WAKE UP -- lift up your eyes to the heavens -- lift up your hands to God in prayer -- and WATCH for the soon fulfillment of every prophecy, and for the soon coming of the Lord Jesus Christ! Jesus Christ declares, "Surely I come quickly." "Even so, Come, Lord Jesus"! (Rev.22:20)

I clicked on and read some things on these sites and bookmarked them to read more later. The only comment I can make now is that Revelation I think in chapter 3 promises to bless everyone who reads this book of prophecy . The scriptures repeatedly tell us to watch and be ready for Christ's return.
