My 10 year old asked me

"Is it a sin to believe in ghosts?"

I'm really not sure and don't know what to tell her. Any advice?

Hebrews says that it is given unto men once to die & after this the judgement & Job says as the cloud is consoumed & vanisheth away so is he that goeth down to the grave he shall come up no more. I wouldn't call it sin but rather a falsehood if we see something that we want to interpret as a Ghost I believe it is a Demon. Remember in the story of Lazarus & the rich man God or Abraham told the rich man that if they don't get the message from the prophets that are alive they wont get it even if someone rose from the dead.
