Hi All,
The other day as I was setting down the spirit came to me and said, "Ask Steve is it ok to do bible study on the message board?" Since I am learning to obey the Holy Spirit, I sent a message Steve, asking if it would ok for me to conduct an online bible study? Being a Great man of God that Steve is he said, yes."

The bible study will go as followed:
1. Weekly I will post the bible reading, a summary of the lesson and the questions.
2. Be willing to participate in the discussion. All are welcome, the more the merrier, I think this will be exciting and challenging for all us.
3. Expect God to teach you through the passage being discussed and through the other members. Pray that you will have an enjoyable and profitable time, but also that as a result of the study you will find ways that you can take action individually and / or as a group.
4. For those who would like to participate, please post your topics of interest you would like to study. Prayer (An adventure with God) and Esther (Character under pressure), are just a couple I was considering. I would encourage you to post any area, you may have a need in so, we can dig deeper into and we can grow together in his word as an individual and a group.

God Bless each and everyone on this board their families, friends and even those they come in contact with throughout their days.

There are times when we do not give you the thanks and praises as we should, but I ask that you forgive us father for taking you for granted. I would like to encourage you in your Bible Study even if it seems there may be a lack of interest. Many more will read without posting or contributing to the study. I think it is a wonderful idea and could be very helpful.

Hi Tanya,

I would like to join in the Bible study. I was asked by a group close by to bible study however they didn't want Dylan coming or him calling if he needed me because they thought it might upset their study. However if anyone read my post on the Prayer requests this is an impossibility, I need to be with Dylan and for him to have access to me when he needs me....this could be the answer to our prayers.


The topic I have been intriqued by is God as the Husband. An insight came to me when people Marry two become one and so the Husband and Wife become God, Christ and the Holy Spirit's wife and submit to him as one. They are no more two but one, which is why God doesn't like divorce or seperation, otherwise people would be committing adultery with God when they Marry each other.

I have discussed this with others about God/Christ/Holy Spirit as our Husband and they look at me as if I am a bit perculiar and one got really angry with me, because he liked to be in a dominant position in his own marriage, however now he is in a vunerable position, please God look after him. Yet some people read the passages that look as God as our Husband and agree. Afterall in Revelation, Christ's Bride is the new Jerusalem and isn't everyone that is saved and called into the new Jerusalem a part of the Brideship? It certainly makes sense with explaining submission in marriage.

I have always had trouble with reading we are equal in Christ, being no more male or female, Jew or Gentile, slave or free and I don't know how many times I have been told I have to submit without no submission on the other person's part. I find it difficult to see how one person being placed in a higher position than another, or one person getting there own way all the time or making all the decisions simply because of gender, fits in with God's teaching of love your neighbour, honouring and reverencing the wife and placing another's needs before your own. An indepth study and discussion of this would be really helpful....

I would like to first welcome you to the message board. It has really change my life in so many ways. Not only my life, but also I have seen the LORD answer again and again and again. Our heavenly father is awesome and I just can't help but praise and thank him for technology. Praise and Honor to you father.

The lesson is under the biblical section of the message board where you find this posting. The focus of the lesson is Character Under Pressure and the text is the book of Esther. The current lesson is coming out of Esther 4 and the title of the text is Doing the Right Thing. I would encourage you to read chapters 1 – 3 if you're not familiar with the book of Esther. That will give you a better understand of chapter 4. I have already posted some of my/the instructors manual answers for questions 1 – 5, if you like you can add to the answers and we can have an in dept decision that would be wonderful.

All I ask that you keep the bible study in your prayers as well as me. Not only those two but also this entire web site, the founders, members and their families. I ask that we all do our part in building up the Kingdom of God.

I am happy to see your respose I think I found the location of the leossons today. How is Texas? The only Issue is I can only get to access this site during work hours, but i will continue to pray for time, for the leossons and the website.

I will read the verses tonight but it will be more than a blessing if you can tell me were I can get an online Bible.

You are more than welcome. I normally us www.biblegateway.com. I am sure others on this site my have other resources avaliable. I understand about having access to a computer at work only. I would just print or write the quetions down and meditate/work on them from home. On Biblegateway you can print the bible verse as well.
