Darby,
I am no where close to being a bible scholar, however, praise God the LORD loves me. I am learning that those who seem wicked seem to be prospering; however, real prosperity is in material things always. Praise God real prosperity is being in LOVE with JESUS. The things the wicked have will only last for a short time that is a trick Satan uses on them. But Glory to God Satan has already been defeated and those quote unquote wicked people will call on the name of JESUS.

Most Gracious and Powerful God, the one that sits high and looks low. We come to you right now with questions and we ask that you give us wisdome on this subject. Master we do not know why things are as they are, but we give you honor and glory knowing that you will reveal the answer to us. Lord we thank you right now and we praise your mighty and holy name. Amen

Luke 2:49b Did you not know that I must be about My Father's business?

There are a lot of scriptures about it but the 2 that hit me the hardest are these - Dan 4:17 "This matter is by the decree of the watchers, and the demand by the word of the holy ones: to the intent that the living may know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will, and setteth up over it the basest of men." & Eccl 5:8 "If thou seest the oppression of the poor, and violent perverting of judgment and justice in a province, marvel not at the matter: for he that is higher than the highest regardeth; and there be higher than they."
Ex 23:1-2 & 7 says: "1Thou shalt not raise a false report: put not thine hand with the wicked to be an unrighteous witness. 2Thou shalt not follow a multitude to do evil; neither shalt thou speak in a cause to decline after many to wrest judgment: 7Keep thee far from a false matter; and the innocent and righteous slay thou not: for I will not justify the wicked." Deut 25:1 says: "If there be a controversy between men, and they come unto judgment, that the judges may judge them; then they shall justify the righteous, and condemn the wicked." 1 Sam 2:9 says: "He will keep the feet of his saints, and the wicked shall be silent in darkness; for by strength shall no man prevail." 1 Kin 8:32 says: "Then hear thou in heaven, and do, and judge thy servants, condemning the wicked, to bring his way upon his head; and justifying the righteous, to give him according to his righteousness." 2 Chron 6:23 says: "Then hear thou from heaven, and do, and judge thy servants, by requiting the wicked, by recompensing his way upon his own head; and by justifying the righteous, by giving him according to his righteousness." Job 8:22 says: They that hate thee shall be clothed with shame; and the dwelling place of the wicked shall come to nought." Job 9:24 says: "The earth is given into the hand of the wicked: he covereth the faces of the judges thereof; if not, where, and who is he?" Job 11:20 says: "But the eyes of the wicked shall fail, and they shall not escape, and their hope shall be as the giving up of the ghost." Job 15:20-35 says: "20The wicked man travaileth with pain all his days, and the number of years is hidden to the oppressor. 21A dreadful sound is in his ears: in prosperity the destroyer shall come upon him. 22He believeth not that he shall return out of darkness, and he is waited for of the sword. 23He wandereth abroad for bread, saying, Where is it? he knoweth that the day of darkness is ready at his hand. 24Trouble and anguish shall make him afraid; they shall prevail against him, as a king ready to the battle. 25For he stretcheth out his hand against God, and strengtheneth himself against the Almighty. 26He runneth upon him, even on his neck, upon the thick bosses of his bucklers: 27Because he covereth his face with his fatness, and maketh collops of fat on his flanks. 28And he dwelleth in desolate cities, and in houses which no man inhabiteth, which are ready to become heaps. 29He shall not be rich, neither shall his substance continue, neither shall he prolong the perfection thereof upon the earth. 30He shall not depart out of darkness; the flame shall dry up his branches, and by the breath of his mouth shall he go away. 31Let not him that is deceived trust in vanity: for vanity shall be his recompense. 32It shall be accomplished before his time, and his branch shall not be green. 33He shall shake off his unripe grape as the vine, and shall cast off his flower as the olive. 34For the congregation of hypocrites shall be desolate, and fire shall consume the tabernacles of bribery. 35They conceive mischief, and bring forth vanity, and their belly prepareth deceit." Job 18:5-21 says: "5Yea, the light of the wicked shall be put out, and the spark of his fire shall not shine. 6The light shall be dark in his tabernacle, and his candle shall be put out with him. 7The steps of his strength shall be straitened, and his own counsel shall cast him down. 8For he is cast into a net by his own feet, and he walketh upon a snare. 9The gin shall take him by the heel, and the robber shall prevail against him. 10The snare is laid for him in the ground, and a trap for him in the way.
11Terrors shall make him afraid on every side, and shall drive him to his feet. 12His strength shall be hungerbitten, and destruction shall be ready at his side. 13It shall devour the strength of his skin: even the firstborn of death shall devour his strength. 14His confidence shall be rooted out of his tabernacle, and it shall bring him to the king of terrors. 15It shall dwell in his tabernacle, because it is none of his: brimstone shall be scattered upon his habitation. 16His roots shall be dried up beneath, and above shall his branch be cut off. 17His remembrance shall perish from the earth, and he shall have no name in the street. 18He shall be driven from light into darkness, and chased out of the world. 19He shall neither have son nor nephew among his people, nor any remaining in his dwellings. 20They that come after him shall be astonied at his day, as they that went before were affrighted. 21Surely such are the dwellings of the wicked, and this is the place of him that knoweth not God." Job 20:4-29 says: "4Knowest thou not this of old, since man was placed upon earth, 5That the triumphing of the wicked is short, and the joy of the hypocrite but for a moment? 6Though his excellency mount up to the heavens, and his head reach unto the clouds; 7Yet he shall perish for ever like his own dung: they which have seen him shall say, Where is he? 8He shall fly away as a dream, and shall not be found: yea, he shall be chased away as a vision of the night. 9The eye also which saw him shall see him no more; neither shall his place any more behold him.
10His children shall seek to please the poor, and his hands shall restore their goods. 11His bones are full of the sin of his youth, which shall lie down with him in the dust. 12Though wickedness be sweet in his mouth, though he hide it under his tongue; 13Though he spare it, and forsake it not; but keep it still within his mouth: 14Yet his meat in his bowels is turned, it is the gall of asps within him. 15He hath swallowed down riches, and he shall vomit them up again: God shall cast them out of his belly. 16He shall suck the poison of asps: the viper’s tongue shall slay him. 17He shall not see the rivers, the floods, the brooks of honey and butter. 18That which he laboured for shall he restore, and shall not swallow it down: according to his substance shall the restitution be, and he shall not rejoice therein. 19Because he hath oppressed and hath forsaken the poor; because he hath violently taken away an house which he builded not; 20Surely he shall not feel quietness in his belly, he shall not save of that which he desired. 21There shall none of his meat be left; therefore shall no man look for his goods. 22In the fulness of his sufficiency he shall be in straits: every hand of the wicked shall come upon him.
23When he is about to fill his belly, God shall cast the fury of his wrath upon him, and shall rain it upon him while he is eating. 24He shall flee from the iron weapon, and the bow of steel shall strike him through. 25It is drawn, and cometh out of the body; yea, the glittering sword cometh out of his gall: terrors are upon him. 26All darkness shall be hid in his secret places: a fire not blown shall consume him; it shall go ill with him that is left in his tabernacle. 27The heaven shall reveal his iniquity; and the earth shall rise up against him. 28The increase of his house shall depart, and his goods shall flow away in the day of his wrath. 29This is the portion of a wicked man from God, and the heritage appointed unto him by God." Job 21:7-21 says: 7Wherefore do the wicked live, become old, yea, are mighty in power? 8Their seed is established in their sight with them, and their offspring before their eyes. 9Their houses are safe from fear, neither is the rod of God upon them. 10Their bull gendereth, and faileth not; their cow calveth, and casteth not her calf. 11They send forth their little ones like a flock, and their children dance. 12They take the timbrel and harp, and rejoice at the sound of the organ. 13They spend their days in wealth, and in a moment go down to the grave. 14Therefore they say unto God, Depart from us; for we desire not the knowledge of thy ways. 15What is the Almighty, that we should serve him? and what profit should we have, if we pray unto him? 16Lo, their good is not in their hand: the counsel of the wicked is far from me.
17How oft is the candle of the wicked put out! and how oft cometh their destruction upon them! God distributeth sorrows in his anger. 18They are as stubble before the wind, and as chaff that the storm carrieth away. 19God layeth up his iniquity for his children: he rewardeth him, and he shall know it. 20His eyes shall see his destruction, and he shall drink of the wrath of the Almighty. 21For what pleasure hath he in his house after him, when the number of his months is cut off in the midst?" Job 31:3 says: Is not destruction to the wicked? and a strange punishment to the workers of iniquity?" Job 36:6 says: "He preserveth not the life of the wicked: but giveth right to the poor." 7 Ps 11 says: "God judgeth the righteous, and God is angry with the wicked every day." 9 Ps 16-17 says: "16 The LORD is known by the judgment which he executeth: the wicked is snared in the work of his own hands. Higgaion Selah 17 The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God." 11 Ps 5-6 says: "5 The LORD trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth. 6 Upon the wicked he shall rain snares, fire and brimstone, and an horrible tempest: this shall be the portion of their cup." 32 Ps 10 says: "Many sorrows shall be to the wicked: but he that trusteth in the LORD, mercy shall compass him about." 34 Ps 21 says: "Evil shall slay the wicked: and they that hate the righteous shall be desolate." 37 Ps 10 says: "For yet a little while, and the wicked shall not be: yea, thou shalt diligently consider his place, and it shall not be." 37 Ps 28 says: "For the LORD loveth judgment, and forsaketh not his saints; they are preserved for ever: but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off." 37 Ps 34 says: "Wait on the LORD, and keep his way, and he shall exalt thee to inherit the land: when the wicked are cut off, thou shalt see it." 68 Ps 2 says: "As smoke is driven away, so drive them away: as wax melteth before the fire, so let the wicked perish at the presence of God." Ps 73 says: 1 Truly God is good to Israel, even to such as are of a clean heart.
2 But as for me, my feet were almost gone; my steps had well nigh slipped.
3 For I was envious at the foolish, when I saw the prosperity of the wicked.
4 For there are no bands in their death: but their strength is firm.
5 They are not in trouble as other men; neither are they plagued like other men.
6 Therefore pride compasseth them about as a chain; violence covereth them as a garment.
7 Their eyes stand out with fatness: they have more than heart could wish.
8 They are corrupt, and speak wickedly concerning oppression: they speak loftily.
9 They set their mouth against the heavens, and their tongue walketh through the earth.
10 Therefore his people return hither: and waters of a full cup are wrung out to them.
11 And they say, How doth God know? and is there knowledge in the most High?
12 Behold, these are the ungodly, who prosper in the world; they increase in riches.
13 Verily I have cleansed my heart in vain, and washed my hands in innocency.
14 For all the day long have I been plagued, and chastened every morning.
15 If I say, I will speak thus; behold, I should offend against the generation of thy children.
16 When I thought to know this, it was too painful for me;
17 Until I went into the sanctuary of God; then understood I their end.
18 Surely thou didst set them in slippery places: thou castedst them down into destruction.
19 How are they brought into desolation, as in a moment! they are utterly consumed with terrors.
20 As a dream when one awaketh; so, O Lord, when thou awakest, thou shalt despise their image.
21 Thus my heart was grieved, and I was pricked in my reins.
22 So foolish was I, and ignorant: I was as a beast before thee.
23 Nevertheless I am continually with thee: thou hast holden me by my right hand.
24 Thou shalt guide me with thy counsel, and afterward receive me to glory.
25 Whom have I in heaven but thee? and there is none upon earth that I desire beside thee.
26 My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever.
27 For, lo, they that are far from thee shall perish: thou hast destroyed all them that go a whoring from thee.
28 But it is good for me to draw near to God: I have put my trust in the Lord GOD, that I may declare all thy works." 75 Ps 10 says: "All the horns of the wicked also will I cut off; but the horns of the righteous shall be exalted." 92 Ps 7 says: "When the wicked spring as the grass, and when all the workers of iniquity do flourish; it is that they shall be destroyed for ever:" 94 Ps 3-4 says: "3 LORD, how long shall the wicked, how long shall the wicked triumph? 4 How long shall they utter and speak hard things? and all the workers of iniquity boast themselves?" 119 Ps 119 says: "Thou puttest away all the wicked of the earth like dross: therefore I love thy testimonies." 119 Ps 155 says: "Salvation is far from the wicked: for they seek not thy statutes." 129 Ps 4 says: "The LORD is righteous: he hath cut asunder the cords of the wicked."139 Ps 19-22 says: "19 Surely thou wilt slay the wicked, O God: depart from me therefore, ye bloody men.
20 For they speak against thee wickedly, and thine enemies take thy name in vain.
21 Do not I hate them, O LORD, that hate thee? and am not I grieved with those that rise up against thee?
22 I hate them with perfect hatred: I count them mine enemies." 145 Ps 20 says: "The LORD preserveth all them that love him: but all the wicked will he destroy." 146 Ps 9 says: "The LORD preserveth the strangers; he relieveth the fatherless and widow: but the way of the wicked he turneth upside down." 147 Ps 6 says: "The LORD lifteth up the meek: he casteth the wicked down to the ground." Prov 2:22 says: "But the wicked shall be cut off from the earth, and the transgressors shall be rooted out of it." Prov 3:33 says: "The curse of the LORD is in the house of the wicked: but he blesseth the habitation of the just." Prov 4:14-18 says: "14Enter not into the path of the wicked, and go not in the way of evil men. 15Avoid it, pass not by it, turn from it, and pass away. 16For they sleep not, except they have done mischief; and their sleep is taken away, unless they cause some to fall. 17For they eat the bread of wickedness, and drink the wine of violence. 18But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day." Prov 4:19 says: "The way of the wicked is as darkness: they know not at what they stumble."
Now these are not all the scriptures about the wicked, but I think they may help.
Oh I forgot these ones, they are really important - Ezek 18:20-32 "20The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him.
21But if the wicked will turn from all his sins that he hath committed, and keep all my statutes, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall surely live, he shall not die. 22All his transgressions that he hath committed, they shall not be mentioned unto him: in his righteousness that he hath done he shall live. 23Have I any pleasure at all that the wicked should die? saith the Lord GOD: and not that he should return from his ways, and live? 24But when the righteous turneth away from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, and doeth according to all the abominations that the wicked man doeth, shall he live? All his righteousness that he hath done shall not be mentioned: in his trespass that he hath trespassed, and in his sin that he hath sinned, in them shall he die. 25Yet ye say, The way of the Lord is not equal. Hear now, O house of Israel; Is not my way equal? are not your ways unequal? 26When a righteous man turneth away from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, and dieth in them; for his iniquity that he hath done shall he die. 27Again, when the wicked man turneth away from his wickedness that he hath committed, and doeth that which is lawful and right, he shall save his soul alive. 28Because he considereth, and turneth away from all his transgressions that he hath committed, he shall surely live, he shall not die. 29Yet saith the house of Israel, The way of the Lord is not equal. O house of Israel, are not my ways equal? are not your ways unequal?
30Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel, every one according to his ways, saith the Lord GOD. Repent, and turn yourselves from all your transgressions; so iniquity shall not be your ruin. 31Cast away from you all your transgressions, whereby ye have transgressed; and make you a new heart and a new spirit: for why will ye die, O house of Israel? 32For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth, saith the Lord GOD: wherefore turn yourselves, and live ye."

Hello Slade and all, but how have you all been doing? , but in response your post Slade, about the word wicked is very touching in viev with others, but to usward that knows of our Saviour's cleasing power in his/Jesus steps wheather male or female/nation of people and that are doing his will should abide in him but, as I think of what and why was I so "Wicked" , that I could not be saved to want to make that change for his righteousness, or did I wanted to have my own way and still have the wright kind of salvation,

or to become an encouragement to others for the rest of my life, because I was NOT AT ALL THAT I'M NOW, Lk. 1:75,

So then! as I just glanced at the title of this post, it really has some Deut.4:9, and other scriptures, but as for as the word wicked it wil run its course!,

but my point here is for Prophecy with our Lord's plan for salvation, I would say! , and of course your views are very encouraging Proverbs 28: all verses, Gen. 19: all vs.

11-26-03 11th. Month. of The Roman/Julian Calendar Wednesday 4th. day of the week "1st. day of Chislev is the 9th. month of The Hebrew Calendar" 5763, 1st. of all, We remember when our Lord has said about "1st. seeking (his) Father kingdom and his righteousness" in which doing so, that (All) these things in which your "Heavenly Father" (knows) exactly what you would have need of (Will) be added to you! "Matt.6:24-No Man can Serve Two Masters:-(33)" "But seek (ye-you) first the kingdom of God", Which (Is) "A Phrase of Our Lord"

So! Are you having to seek his kingdom ? because, We're trying to "update" our site so that it can be as "current" as possible, hopefully that you'll can "bear our "infirmites-weakness" Ephesians 4:1-32 please! Romans 2:1-inexcusable, old man -9-"Jew" first, and also of the "Gentile"-(11)-"For there is no respect of persons with God"-13 but the "Doers of The LAW SHALL BE JUSTIFIED James 1:22- "But be ye Doers", I John 3:7-"he that (doeth)righteous is righteous" and Just "Looking at ("Todays Circumstances") of Life","But Still Looking at Matt.4:4"-"Living by every Word that proceedth out of the mouth" of God)

("GOD Expression") "Being Jesus Christ Our Precious Savior" But To Love (Him) Is To Keep His Commandments John 14:15, 15:5-(nothing without him)-7-10, Philippians 4:13-but "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me"-and "(But my God (shall)supply All your need" "according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus") So that you won't get turned into Hell! in forgetting The True and Living God Ps.9:1-7-"But The Lord Shall Endure ForeverFrown"he) hath prepared (his) throne" -(8)-for judgement "rule".)-17-(The wicked shall be turned into hell, and (all) nations that forget God) http://firstthing1sttab2002.freeservers.com/whats_new.html

Because this we feel (Is) really "serious matters" of "involvements" and we're not trying to lead you on to some money or anything like that but! and if you really care! That Is! Our ("Salvation") (Is) at stake,

Love you all always,

Unless one becomes born again and becomes a child of God (John 3), this life is all he/she has to prosper. Children of God have eternity and for now, a more abundant life with Christ dwelling in us. We can be delivered from the fear of death and have peace in our hearts and the wisdom from God and many more blessings. Prosperity is so much more than material wealth and things.

Read Psalm 37 whole chapter and Proverbs 24:19-20
Read Psalm 34 also. These will answer your question.
