The Lord's Prayer states: and lead us not into temptation....and then James 1:13 says, let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God...
--how are the 2 connected? I am not sure they are connected.... Confusedor what does the Lord's prayer about temptation really mean... Big Grin

The Lord's prayer contains the verse "And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one" (Matthew 6:13). In this prayer, we're asking God to keep us off a path that leads to temptation - lead us away from temptation.

There is no fear that God will intentionally cause us to sin.
