with everyone saying their way is right, who do you believe??

I was told to examine the evidence & make up my own mind by my aithest mother; & that's what I did - I studied just about all the religions that I could get ahold of their books, & after about a year of intense study I came to the conclusion that what I heard from my youth is correct: That the Bible is where to find God. There are 1000 reasons at least I can tell you why the Word of God as recorded in the Bible is the truth but untill you know it for yourself I wont be able to convince you. God told me that he is to be found in every version; even the version I cannot stand the most. So just pick up a Bible & open your heart in prayer to the author of the book & you will either see my point or you wont. I pray that you do.

Just try to look for teachers that teach what the Word of God says; compared to what men like himself have to say. Because anything that comes out of my or anyones' mouth is rubbish if it doesn't aggree with the scripture.

One interesting point is that when you are a baby christian that you try not to make too many judgements untill after your first year (of intense study) or so because you gotta know what the whole bible says; not just your favorite parts. People who take their favorite parts while neglecting other parts are guilty of misrepresenting God.

May I say too that since you have access to the internet, there exist some wonderful references to use along with your Bible CD's. You might find these helpful:

www.biblegateway.com This site has many Bible versions for reading and reference. You can even listen and read the Bible from this site at the same time. (There is a quick link to this at the bottom of the Gods Daily Word Message Board)

www.blueletterbible.org (if you want to look up word meanings in the original Greek, etc.)

www.christiananswers.net ( interesting site with a colorful on line Bible too)
