It had to be more than 5,000 that was the number of men in the crowd not counting the women and children.

It is possible that the women & children didn't participate in this miracle or just that they were not counted on purpose as part of the cultural practices.
"The more you know, the more you should realize how much you have to learn" Slade "God forbid that I should sin against the LORD in ceasing to pray for you" (1 Sam 12:23) "let such as love thy salvation say continually, Let God be magnified" (70 Ps 4) All scriptures are King James (Authorized) Version unless otherwise noted http://www.geocities.com/walkinlovelivebyfaith/ |

I don't believe all men were married or had kids.
There must have been single women, widows with kids and whatever wives of some of the 5,000 men and their kids. So I believe it had to be at least 15,000 and maybe even 90,000. No one knows. |
