Hi all,

Just had to come on with a praise report. First of all God is awesome, I love Christ and what he does for us and the Holy Spirit you just rock my world...I had a message, scripture to give to a congregation here. I was called to the area and now I know it is to encourage, inspire, lift up, pray in Spirit and call on the presence of God to be really with this church.

Anyway I have had a panic/anixety disorder for ages and I don't like speaking out in public, have never spoken to a congregation before. I think I would rather be doing just about anything else than talk in a public gathering. However I had to do it for God. So I did, I said I have something to share and they gave me the floor to do so.

The service was about God's gifts and if God gives you a gift you are to use it etc... and this was what I needed to speak about. I read 1 Cor 14 to them. In it is about using the gifts of the Holy Spirit and not stopping people from doing it, and that we all need to be bringing something to share, and also there was a verse about women being quiet in churches and I told them I had a real problem with that, if God wants me to speak how can I be a hypocrit because I am not being silent like Paul says? Then I told them about how Dylan asked me to read Genesis and when I came to Genesis Chapter 5:1, I just thanked the Lord for this answer (because I really didn't feel comfortable about reading what I was meant to read) ...it says "When God created them man, he made them in his own likeness. He created them as male and female. He blessed them. And he called them "man" when they were created.

Then the message was we are to use our gifts to go out and love people. There are so many unsaved/saved souls crying out for love. We are to go and take our gifts, the Lord's resources and really love people from His heart. I finished with a prayer for the Holy Spirit to water the seed so that it can go forth and produce fruit.

Anyway when I finished I had dry mouth, my hands were shaking and I sat down the back and there was stunned silence. Afterwards the people had been moved by it and thanked me and it was great. Next week we are going up before church with some modern contemporary music, tambourines, praying and praising and worshipping music for the Lord...and Brian who is in charge of the services said "So you can put the music up and have it call out to people", Dylan and I looked at each other and said Yes ).

The church I saw as conservative is hanging out for change, for people to be effective in this area and I can see this in their services. The Good news I didn't feel death spirit today, had been praying for that to be cleared...Today I felt new hope, energy and I started singing loudly and other people started singing loudly...I raised my hands and who knows maybe others might too on day...

So it was a big Amen Hallelujah, God is great Good kind of day and lets hope that next week the only thing required is a tambourine and music kind of start to church. However with the Lord you never know. And I have been put on the prayer intercessing network for the church. Amen Lord, it is so great what you can do...take a young shy girl, doormat, scared and quiet little mouse, broken and transform her into a courageous, outspoken, bold warrior, speaker and anything else you give to her...I love what you do, Lord, you rule our life.

"Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you oversees, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood". (Acts 20:28).

I remember 10 years ago,when I receive Jesus back into my heart.I found myself starving for God's Word. I had many fears in the beginning but I gave my life totally to the Lord and became a hungry diciple yielded to God for His service and glory.

Serenity, every time I have an oppurtunity to give a sermon,a testimony, a message, it energized my soul and heart. Thank You Lord for allowing us to serve you with our hearts and minds.

Ever since the first time I gave my first sermon and testimony, I have never been the same. Now I can't seem to stop what the Lord has started.

I now have been ask to speak down at the Christain Youth center in MY WIFE'S HOME TOWN. There is usually 50 to 100 teenagers there.May the Lord allow me too minister to their hearts allowing them to receive the Lord in a big way.

The bible says: Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, let us use them: if prophesy in proportion to our faith; or ministry, let us use them: if prophecy, let us prophesy in proportion to our faith; or ministry, let us use it in our ministering; he who teaches, in teaching; he who exhorts, in exhortation; he who gives, with liberality; he who leads, with diligence, he who shows mercy, with cherfulness. Romans 12:6

Serenity, I thank God for Holy Spirit that allows us to overcome our own fears.

Praise God for allowing us to trust in Him. He gives us strength and guidance, allowing the Holy Spirit to come through our hearts with no fear.

For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. 2 Timothy 1:7.

May he continue to guiet your heart while deeply energizing your inner spirit. May every cell, nerve, and muscles rest in His warm everlasting arms. May we remember to continue to focus on Him in our quiet times and may we enter into His presence in communion with His Word.

Dear Lord, I give you all the praise and Glory for allowing your daughter Serenity to SPEAK IN YOUR HONOR FOR YOUR SERVICE AND GLORY.

thankyou for writing to me and giving me your testimony. Dylan has just come in and being the scolding Parent, you see it is 2.49 am in the morning. The Lord has woken him to chase me back to bed. You inspire me and thankyou for asking the Lord to re energise and renew me in his spirit. I love you my brother John in Christ. Thankyou for your words of encourgament. At present am having to learn a specialist medical field for helping my son. The Lord is revealing things to me in this and I am so grateful, u see the medical professionals let us down. Or tell us stuff that is just not in alignment with God's will for us. So we now learn a new area, learning about sensory diets at presents. I know that this info will not only help my son, this info will help a lot of people I know that deal with stress etc.. from their overstimulated environments.
