Shawn and his wife, Julie, gave birth to a baby boy last night - actually, I believe Julie did most of the work! The baby's name is Caleb and he weighed in at 7 pounds 9 ounces. We'll have to wait for Shawn to get more specifics, but I understand that everyone is doing well.
Yikes - I now have two grandchildren! I need to find my rocking chair and cane...I'm feeling a little old. |

Hi everybody! Thanks for the congradulations! Things have been really good with mom and baby. Caleb also has a big sister that is being really sweet considering she is turning two in a couple days. I could not be more thankful for my family. Here is a picture of new born Caleb Troxel and his older sister Hannah Troxel.

I love being a father. There sure is a lot to do with two small children. Hannah is 2 and Caleb is 4 and half months. They are a blessing and my wife Julie and I are extremely thankful to God for these precious gifts. Its awesome how God uses family and children to teach us about Him and His will for our life. Praise God for responsibility even though its not always desired from one moment to the next! He knows what is best for our life. Thank you all for the encouragements!
