I read Daniel 9:23 in my daily reading and I almost started shouting. It says As soon as you began to pray, an answer was given, which I have come to tell you for you are highly esteemed.

I do not know about you all but that is good to know that before I was done with each and every prayer, they have already been answered. I notice that it did not say answered the way I want it, but that is fine. I am learning to accept that God is all knowing and the way I have things worked out does not mean it is the right way.

Dear God,
I know before I finish this prayer it will be answered. I have come to realize my prayers may not be answered the way I think it ought to be, but they are still answered. I use to wonder "WHY" that was before, but I have decided, because you said "not my will and way but your will and way." Lord, I thank you so much for your will. Because when I look back over life on some situation I prayed a prayer; and had it all worked out (yes trying to tell you how to do your job). And when you did not answer the prayer the way I wanted to but that way you saw fit I see how your way was the better of the two, and I must say I thank you for your will. Your way always seems to work out better in the long run. Lord, now that I am completing this prayer I know you have heard my unspoken prayers and they have already been answered.

Thank you,
Your daughter
Tanya

Amen

For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11

Tanya,

It is so encourage to see the spirit of God work in your life as he is doing. I praise God that he is willing to listen to our hearts. When we pray for something God sometimes answers in a different way. Isn't He awesome. For Example: James 5:17-19 says Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed earnestly that it would not rain; and it did not rain on the land for three years and six months. And he prayed again and the earth produced its fruits. Psalm 28:6; says blessed be the Lord, Because He has heard the voice of my supplications! The bible also says: " I cried to Him with my mouth, And He was extolled with my tongue. If I regard iniquity in my heart, The Lord will not hear. But certainly God has heard me; He has attended to the voice of my prayer. Blessed be God. Who has not turned away my pray, Nor His mercy for me. Psalm 66:17-20.

Tanya,

May our Lord continue to mold you and shape you for His service and glory.

God bless your soul!

Thanks for the encouragement!!!!!

The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; My God, My strength, in whom I will trust; My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. Psalm 18:2

you are onto something important that is easy to overlook or remember. This also reminds me of the fact that The Holy Spirit intercedes for us with words that cannot be utttered because we do not know how to pray as we ought to according to the gospel of John.
