No Room At the Inn

When Jesus was born, he was born in a manger because there was no room at the inn (Luke 2:7). May this Christmas be the Christmas we stop saying to God, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit, there is no room at the inn. We say no room to God everytime our lives are too busy for him, everytime we forget to pray, thank him, read his word and don’t praise or worship him in our daily lives and everytime we take our focus off of our Saviour, Jesus Christ.

May this Christmas be the Christmas we all honour and worship our Lord heeding the words of Paul… “So be careful how you live. Don’t be like ignorant people, but like wise people. Make good use of every opportunity you have, because these are evil days. Don’t be fools, then, but try to find out what the Lord wants you to do. Do not get drunk with wine, which will only ruin you; instead, be filled with the Spirit. Speak to one another with the words of psalms, hymns, and sacred songs; sing hymns and psalms to the Lord with praise in your hearts. In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, always give thanks for everything to God the Father” (Ephesians 5:15-20).

As we give out gifts this Christmas to others that will fade away, cards that will be recycled let us remember to give out our blessings and our love to our neighbours. If we have been wronged by others, or have wronged in anyway let us give our family, friends and neighbours the gift of forgiveness, mercy, grace, reconciliation and unity in our hearts. Above all else let us give to God the gift he wants most; ourselves: our hearts, our love, obedience and surrender.

May this be the Christmas that we remember Paul’s words and ask God for others and ourselves to receive the gift and anointing of God’s Holy Spirit. May we open our hearts to the Lord and to our neighbours as well as our friends and family and to remember to love them with God’s Love…completely. May this be the Christmas the world stops saying to God…No Room at the Inn… May this be the Christmas that we give each other Peace and stop fighting amongst ourselves. In Christ Jesus’ name may we allow God’s love to transform ourselves, our hearts and world, through the Holy Spirit….

“Love is Patient and kind; it is not jealous or conceited or proud; love is not ill-mannered or selfish or irritable; love does not keep a record of wrongs; love is not happy with evil, but is happy with the truth. Love never gives up; and its faith, hope, and patience never fail. Love is eternal…” (Corinthian 13:4-8)

Serenity,
Thank you for reminding me that I need to always make time and room to serve the Lord. This week at my church we are having prayer from 6:00a-6: 30a and since I live so far I commented to getting up and just praying at home. Well a friend called me late last night to talk and I stayed up late. Of course at 6:00am I did not want to get up and pray. I know shame on me. My bed was so warm; I was just rolling over for that last sleep before the sun came up. See I had all kind of excuses this morning. Then I got on line and say this message that just convicted me. Thank you so much for reminding me there is always room to serve the Lord.

For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11

Amen!

We need to seek Him first everyday.

Thank You for the reminder of who We Serve. We need to take a step back and give Him everything. He needs are attention. We sometimes forget to let go and let God. He has such bigger plans for everyone that loves Him.

May the peace of God be with you and your family!!!!

Glory to God!!! Smile

The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; My God, My strength, in whom I will trust; My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. Psalm 18:2

Hi Tanya and John,

Thankyou the Lord answers requests. This was a message for someone else that had to be past on. I was a bit concerned how it would be received, your posts confirmed everything will be alright. Also I had the message come to me the other day, so I forwarded it on. At times in the past God was not first in my life now it can no longer be the case. We are living in critical times which God needs to be priority One in our lives.

Praise the Lord,

Love and blessings in the Lord,

Serenity
