22 Because of the LORD's great love we are not consumed,
for his compassions never fail.
23 They are new every morning;
great is your faithfulness. Lamentations 3:22-23

John,

Thank you for the posts. The first time a read this post, I did get some chills. I was thinking of how God can get people out of major physical harm or death. He can do that in amazing and meraculuse ways.

Then I thought more about this story again later on and was blown away at the parallel.

This same story has played out in every believer's life wither they know it or not. Before I was saved, my life was on that high dive. If God did not graciously save me by intervention, then I would have lead a life of selfishness and misery all the way down to my waterless grave. I would have been lacking the joy of the Lord.

I forget to be thankful sometimes about God saving me. Right now I thank Him for the life He has saved me from.

4But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, 5made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions--it is by grace you have been saved. 6And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus,(Ephesians 2:4-6)

Your brother in Christ,

Shawn

Well hello John Trevino! and how are you all doing? on this blessed night of our Lord Jesus Christ! , yes this post is really some kind of chill, thats if our Lord do not turn on his light on for us, but as he stands at our door to our hearts, he just knocks for us to open, that he will pour/share his Love with us in repentenance, for his presence, at that instance,

Genesis 22:1-7-8-10-14-19.

but, I don't know, because I was not there, and if I were put into that kind of chill, being there at Abraham's time with his Son, not knowing the outcome.

Love you all always,

Walter Preston, Jr. and Deborah, Wa.
