Hi All,
Just watched an awesome talk online and if anyone is interested the link is below. Anyway in part of the service the talk was of tithing and offering, this passage was pointed out and it is so good, positive and uplifting just had to share it.... "Bring the entire tenth to the storerooms in my temple. Then there will be plenty of food. Put me to the test, says the Lord. Then you will see that I will throw open the windows of heaven. I will pour out so many blessings that you will not have enough room for them". (Malachi 3:10). My son and I have been doing this, not just with money however with giving our all to God and now the blessings are coming, miracles are happening and last week was persecuted by a member of my original family, they were really awful, unkind and loving, now 3 days later they are just so helpful and kind, communicating respectfully and also supportive when there was nothing but distance. Blessings are coming to my friend and husband, who I had yelling out at the top of her lungs Praise God, *LOL* May everyone that reads this take it to heart and just really give their all to God, Christ, Holy Spirit and may the blessing come flooding out of heaven all over our Christian family and flowing out to the greater community, world blessing all it touches, in Christ Jesus' name...Amen BTW there are also some phenonminal talks about marriage and relationships, if only I would have seen them ages ago....if anyone is interested, here is the website www.ccc.org.au click online services, then archives.... love and blessings in the Lord, Serenity |

I took a walk down in the back woods this afternoon to check on my honey bees. It was a nice walk, other than the snow came to my knees. When you are my age and out of condition like I am it left you out of breath.
With the temperature at 15 above F. and the bees with no winter coats, I didn't see a one. I suppose they were all sitting inside by the fireside reading Len Colp's latest book, Barefoot Days and dreaming of summer. HAVE A HONEY OF A DAY NOW! |

Hi Windy Bluffs,
I can imagine them by the fire too all snuggled up in preparation for spring. Here it is summer and it has just gotten really nice. Was very stifling, now it's great and am enjoying the flowers and watching out for those bees. Perhaps your bees are on holidays laying on deckchairs, by the pool listening some great inspiring music and reading the word. Hope you enjoy the snow, can you build Dylan a snow man, he has never done that yet.... love and blessings in the Lord, Serenity Worry can rob you of happiness, but kind words will cheer you up. (provers 12:25) |

You better check those bees your watching, maybe they are mine, just holidaying in the Ausie sun.
I'm afraid I don't winter too well. I am cold from the time the tempature drops below 70 degrees F. until it returns. Many years ago, my good wife and I started to file papers to move to Australia. As you see we never made it. We got to thinking about being so far from home and that ended that. I have always thought I would like to spend some there just to see the Out Back and Tasmania. It was Tasmania we had thought of going to. Which Church do you go to? My wife and I go to the Salvation Army. We are not members but we attend there. I also drive a van for the Salvation Army part-time doing pick ups for the Thrift Store and kitchen for the street people. In fact I start tomorrow on that. We have a Nazarene back ground, but through the years we have just gone to what ever Evangelical church was handy and hit our fancy at the time. HAVE A HONEY OF A DAY NOW! |

Hi Windy,
I thought I saw those bees carrying canadian flags The church I am apart of is the Body of Christ, there are many homes in God's kingdom and we were called into the Body. At present went to our local church, the uniting one because the Lord is leading me to do work their, however just love the church down in Sydney called Christian City Church, they have online services so we can get spiritually fed. Salvation Army do some really good work...How is your work going, it sounds really good? Your wife's and your approach to church sounds similar to mine, I'm non denominational however now I feel that I am in the Body of Christ and feel really grounded in that. What is a nazarene background? Hope you are having a wonderful day, love and blessings in the Lord, Serenity |

Well, it has warmed up here today. A little more my style, course now it could go up another 50 degrees without hurting my feels in the least.
You asked, "What was Nazarene background?" The Church of the Nazarene is world wide denomination, with head quarters in Kansas City Missouri, U.S.A. There are Nazaarene Church in Australia as well, for a former professor of mine went to you neck of the woods to teach in one of their colleges there. I'm not sure where the college is located. The Church of the Nazarene has its roots in the Holiness Movement going back to John Wesley of England. It is Evangelical. Bible believing. The Salvation Army is a part of the Holiness Movement as well. Well I'll duck out now, I have some other e-mails to answer. Talk to you later. HAVE A HONEY OF A DAY NOW! |

Hi Windy,
Sorry it took a few days to get back to u, we went through Crisis and it was horrible. U see we need to strengthen our nervous system because it is so depleted. Was so tired, had nothing left to give. Starting to feel better now. My son has been using the word, God's breath/love, Jesus' focus, belief, faith and the Holy Spirit's power to deal with his asthma/sensory attacks and we r excited because it means no medication and he comes through each one calm at the end of it and like nothing happened, where before it use to knock him around for days afterwards. Psalm 91 and 103 r awesome for this. I am glad it is warming up for u now. Spring is just around the corner for u. Soon will be time to be out in the garden and watching the flowers bloom, the bees will be back from their vacation along with their sunnies Thankyou for the info on the Nazarene Church, hadn't heard of it before. As for hiking in the outback, don't see much of it, u do see some people riding push bikes though and u see campervans,...It is much too hot for this time of year and the distances to cover are quite large. My favourite season is about to come being autumn, still quite warm, cooler in the evenings and a joy to be out and about in the day...not many flies or mosquitoes here Any hiking happening soon in your neck of the woods? love and blessings in the Lord, Serenity |

I hope the snow is not too uncomfortable for you..Here it has been hot so lot's of swimming in the river.... The Lord is freeing us from all sorts of things at present and what was oppressing and depressing is being released from us. The burdens are going....Amen....How r u fairing in the Lord? love and blessings in the Lord, Serenity |

Well it has been sometime since we last talked. I been busy driving truck a couple of days a week.
The weather has warmed up here today Feb. 29th. (I suppose your already into March 1st), the temperature managed to get to 50 above F. (I guess that is +10 c. Do you use British measurements or U.S.?) We have had a good day in the Lord. Major Simmonds continued his study of the Sermon On The Mount. A good passage. Is there just you and me on this Board? It is back to work tomorrow. What do you work at? HAVE A HONEY OF A DAY NOW! |

Hi Windy,
Glad to hear from u...Although I do believe this might be better now to continue conversing through private posts...What do u think? How is driving the trucks? I am glad to hear that it is warming up for u, we just went through some scorchers and now it is cooler and it is really lovely, it has been raining which is great because we prayed for it and because the ground was dry and so were the people hot and dry.... U r now entering into spring as we enter autumn. Our autumn is beautiful because the days r still warm and the birds still abound and so do the flowers. We use metric conversion here. I also love the sermon on the mount. At present Dylan and I are reading the Bible through and Dylan is in competition with me to see if he can finish the bible before me. We r both up to Exodus at present. It has been awesome because having lots of o my gosh moments as these r confirming what he Lord has wanted me to do. No there are others on this board, however since conversation is now off the subject it is just u and me with this post... I work for the Lord, I am Mum, Home Educator (homeschool my child), and everything else for my son...he has special needs just as I do...have been doing research in this. Now we r off to a specialist today to have our nervous system retrained...this is an answer to prayer we had... Was a student last year, the Lord required me to give up Uni and now do work for him whatever that is...No day is the same, each one is different. At present people had their wipper snipper blown up by lending it out to friends of ours and they put the wrong petrol in and there are some feelings about this. Dylan and I are now praying that a new wipper snipper can be delivered to them in this...Dylan wants me to buy a new one for them, I pray that I would like to however I look at my finaces and wonder how they can be stretched . We don't know how this will happen only that the Lord will deliver to them and something will come. At present we r trying to put our home in order, do renovations and have said we will help our mother in Christ Joan, who is without help and needs to move and wants us to help her restore and old home. Her children do not help her and her husband, who is blind. We don't know how this is going to be done either, because at present we are already stretched, but the Lord knows and will deliver the answers and solutions into this situation....and we will do what work needs to be done...as this seems to be a part of the ministry the Lord is giving to Dylan and myself... How is your's and your wife's walk with the Lord going? Have a great day and may the Lord protect you and keep you. love and blessings in the Lord, Serenity |
