Hi All,

Firstly hello to everyone.

I am Serenity, I come from a little country town in Northern NSW, Australia. I came to this site because I was led to it for support and encouragement and maybe even fellowship.

Recently my son and I came out of the world, meaning we gave up television, groups and institutions, relationships anything that was in the way with our relationship with the Lord and us becoming committed Christians. My son and I deal with all sorts of challenges in our lives and recently (6 months) ago we were led to this country town to transform without the distractions/influences getting in the way.

I have just come out of University, was doing a writing course, however it had to go because it was getting in the way of God's transformation process and was one of the things in our lives which was causing stress and illness/disruption.

For now it is a time of getting into the garden, spending quality time with each other and strengthening our relationship with the Lord.

Although at times this process has been difficult because of moments of uncertainty, I take comfort in Jesus and people like Moses and Paul, whom also spent many years living in a desert and in obscurity. I can imagine the people that lived in the desert for 40 years, only I hope it's not 40 years for us ...

For all those other people reading this that are going through similar circumstances, may God's faith and grace get you to where you r being led.

I don't know where all this will lead, I do know that our home is now being built on the rock...Thankyou Lord and thankyou for this opportunity to say hello and share.

Hi John,

Thankyou for your wonderful greeting. It is nice to be welcomed so. Thankyou for the inspiring scriptures. I continue to thank God for the blessings and setting us free.


This morning my son, Dylan (11) was reading the bible study we were doing on Moving Mountains, it was beautiful that he asked for our conflicts to be moved into the sea.

Mark 11 22-23

'Have faith in God', Jesus answered. 'I tell you the truth, if anyone says to this mountain, "Go throw yourself into the sea," and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for him.

He also read about the Cross and that are old natures died with Christ, it was beautiful to see him realise that he has true freedom from difficulties and past experiences. Thankyou God for your awesome gifts of your Grace, Jesus and the Holy Spirit.

'I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. I do not set aside the grace of God, for if righteousness could be gained through the law, Christ died for nothing! (Gal 2:20-1)

'You died and your life is now hidden with Christ in God. Christ is your life. When he appears again, you also will appear with him in Heaven's glory. (Col.3:4)

Bless you for you posts, may everyone realise their Freedom in Christ and grow in his love so that our conflicts can all be thrown into the sea and our old natures are crucified with Christ and we are born into his ressurection....

Serenity-- I have just gotten around to reading this posting. I would like to say welcome and my God's light shine through you and Dylan. I must say every single one on this board has been very very encouraging to me and I draw off of the strength that is present on this board. I ask my father to strength us all.
